  41. * New \toks register \everylist, expanded at the start of every list.
  42. * \footnoterulewidth defined as 2in, not 2true in, thus allowing the use
  43.   of \mag after reading eplain.tex.  The `2true in' was Knuth's, but I
  44.   don't know why he did it.
  45. * \obeywhitespace works inside a \vbox.
  46. * \boxit is \long, and uses \ehrule and \evrule.
  47. * \writenumberedtocentry expands the chapter number, so `\the
  48.   <register>' can be used.
  49. * \verbatim doesn't begin and end with \par, so it can be used in the
  50.   middle of a paragraph.
  51. * \pathafterhook added to \path in path.sty, so macros can execute
  52.   cleanup actions.
  53. * The \path command and friends are documented in the manual.
